GALERI facilitates dialogue and collaboration among governments, philanthropy, finance institutions, international organizations and other development actors on the key challenges and pathways to enabling Life Economies. It supports the integration of Life Economy solutions into the G20 agenda and other regional, national and global processes on sustainable development.
Enhancing Knowledge
& Understanding
GALERI helps to identify and address obstacles to the development of Life Economies, such as restrictive policies and limitations on capital access. It coordinates and supports research, policy development, creation of frameworks and standards, mapping of best practices, and establishment of monitoring and review systems.
Facilitating
Innovation
GALERI supports the development, coordination, implementation, and exchange of innovative approaches to the advancement of Life Economies. It coordinates efforts to develop regulatory and policy frameworks that accelerate the growth of Life Economies at local, national and global levels.
Developing
Capacity
GALERI fosters a global Community of Practice to enhance learning, collaboration, and action towards the development of Life Economies. It supports capacity development within governments and non-governmental organizations to ensure stakeholders have the requisite tools and knowledge to advance Life Economies effectively.
